Payment & Registration FAQ Guide

1. Can I register and pay at the event if the website isn’t working?

No, on-site payment and registration are not available. All participants must complete registration online prior to the event. If the website is temporarily down or you're experiencing issues, you can still register by requesting an invoice. Once you provide proof of payment (such as a bank transfer confirmation or payment receipt), your registration will be manually processed by our team.

• An invoice is downloadable from your confirmation email, you will receive the confirmation email immediately upon booking sent to the email address you register with. .
• Ensure your proof of payment includes your name and the event name for faster processing.
• The credit card section doesn’t work when someone else inputs the info—what should I do?

If you're trying to use a credit card that belongs to someone else (e.g., a supervisor or company card) and the payment form isn't accepting the information, try using the yellow PayPal button instead. This option allows you to check out as a guest, meaning you don’t need a PayPal account to complete the transaction.

Additional Tips:

• Make sure pop-ups are enabled in your browser.
• Try switching to a different browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox).
• If the issue persists, contact support for a direct payment link.

2. My company credit card keeps failing—how can I fix this?

 If your company credit card is being declined, try the following steps:

• Clear your browser cache and cookies – this often resolves form submission issues.
• Try a different browser or device – sometimes browser settings or extensions interfere with payment gateways.
• Contact your company’s finance department – the card may have restrictions on online or international transactions.
• Use the PayPal guest checkout – this can bypass some card verification issues

3. How can I get a copy of my receipt? 

• An invoice is downloadable from your confirmation email, you will receive the confirmation email immediately upon booking sent to the email address you register with. 

4. What is your cancellation and refund policy? 

• Siemens Software reserves the right to defer or cancel the Conference if there are insufficient bookings or conditions arising beyond our control. Siemens Software will reschedule the Conference to an alternative date and/or provide you with a full refund.
• Cancellations by the Participant must be received in writing by email to the [e-mail] or [e-mail]
• Refund Policy Cancellation by the registrant will be subject to cancellation charges as follows:
• Upon cancellation by email at least 60 days before the Conference, SISW will refund your entire Conference registration fee.
• Upon cancellation by email at least 30 days before the Conference, SISW will refund 50% of your Conference registration fee.
• For cancellations less than 30 days before the Conference, no registration fee will be refunded.
